Sealing Tape for Reflectors

We’ve tried a bunch of different products to replace those crusty old rubber (sometimes cork) gaskets that are found on Spotlights that use a reflector and bulb like the Series 112. This by far is the most user friendly, easiest way to seal your lighting assembly from water , air, and dust that we have found to date. It is just thick enough with enough cushion to keep the glass seated firmly against the retaining ring, while still providing a nice seal. To install, simply remove a small amount of the the adhesive backing, pick a spot to begin, and (adhesive side down) little by little, fasten the gasket around the perimeter of the inside lip of the reflector, removing more of the adhesive protective backing as you go. The material has a lot of give and is easy to coax and form the desired shape. Trim excess with scissors, making sure the entire lip of the reflector is covered (you can leave it a tiny bit long as it does have some give.) Comes with enough material to seal 2 reflectors.

*Buyer assumes all responsibility for proper installation and use of this product.
